It was my nephews birthday last week and he wanted a Disney Planes birthday party! So our Disney Planes printable collection was created! I absolutely LOVED the movie. To get all the guests excited we got each guest a Disney planes toy. They are really fun…. you pull them back and fly across the floor. We had races with them and tried to get them to do tricks.
I made a mini runway with black and white washi tape on the gray fabric tablecloth. Then had a large sign with the birthday boy’s name.

We had a pina colada cake…. so delicious!
We strung a mini banner and attached them with a mini clothes pin. We put Dusty and Dottie on top of the cake with mini race flags lining the cake
Another added detail was we lined the platter with black and white checkered crepe paper streamers. This really popped the orange border
We had extra large marshmallows dipped in chocolate, topped with our flag
Each cupcake was topped with a cupcake topper from our printable collection and one of Disney’s planes toy
The kids selected which plane they “wanted to be” as we had races with Disney’s plane racing toys
Chug & Dorttie’s Fill N’ Fly pit crew kit- we filled with toys and candy for the perfect crew kit
Wow!! I absolutely love it!! So creative!! Where did you get the favors and cupcake toppers??
All of the printables I made and you can get them in my shop at http://www.wantsandwishesdesign.com/product/planes-printable-birthday-party-printables
Let me know if you have any other questions!

Where did you get the toys? This is a great idea.
Finding enough toys was a challenge, as the movie had just come out that a couple days before we had the party. I scoured many Toys R Us, Walmart (didn't even have a Disney Planes section yet!) and Targets to get enough for all the kids. lol I think now that it has been out for a couple weeks you will be fine. I found the larger roll back planes at Toys R Us. The Dusty on the cake was Target and the mini planes that were on the cupcakes was Target & Walmart. Good luck hunting for them!
This is so pretty and creative, thank you for sharing.
What is inside the Chug and Dottie can?
Havent seen the movie but my son is excited with the party theme.
They were filled with candy and toys….. just some fun goodies for the kids to enjoy!
Where did you find the tin cans?
I purchased them at http://www.zurchers.com
I loved every detail, you are so creative! I have a question, under what name or product did you found the tin cans? I searched http://www.zurchers.com and didn´t find anything.
I'm not sure what they are called because I bought it in the store, not online. I would just look under containers.
Where did you get the gift bags? I love how they look store bought but they are personalized.
I put them together with "plane" candies I could find and put them in a clear cellophane bag, topped with one of my favor toppers available in our shop.
This is so great! My son's birthday is in January and we are doing the same theme. Where did you get the cloud back drop or was it made? Also, where did you get the "Happy Birthday" banner? Thank you!!
The cloud backdrop I purchased in a little store, but could easily be made. The Happy birthday banner is available here http://www.wantsandwishesdesign.com/products?search=planes&search-submit=
what is the chocolate covered marshmallow supposed to be? super cute!
They aren't suppose to be anything but chocolate covered marshmallows;) The kids loved them!
Did u make the tiny checker flags? On the cake?! Sooo been looking for something like this!
I didn't make those, but many people have asked for them so I have made some and included them in the full collection.
I just love what you did! What did you use for the table cloth?
For the table cloth, I used a gray fabric and then use wash tape to make the "runway" for the planes.
What are the dimensions for the large sign with the Birthday boys name on it?!
It's formatted on a 11×17 paper and the Planes logo is 16×5.5". Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you!!!
Hi there! I'm planning to buy this party pack. I was curious if you had any matching signs or labels for "baggage claim", "in flight meal" or "restroom arrow" or "a lounge or "party check in" …is that something easy to do? let me know! Allison.b.lee@gmail.com I LOVE this collection and my daughters birthday is next week!
I have a question. What did you use to hang the happy birthday sign?
I used twine to hang the banner up with (black and white striped)
Hi I would like to ask if I purchase the package would be able to send them for me instead of downloading it because I wont be able to download them with nice paper.
