The perfect holiday cheese ball filled with craisins, toasted pecans and green onions
1/2 cup pecans
1 8-ounce package of cream cheese
8 ounces good quality sharp white cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
t teaspoon worcestershire sauce
3-4 cups craisins, divided
5 green onions, chopped
- Preheat oven to 35o degrees. Spread out chopped pecans on a small baking sheet lined with parchment paper to toast for 5 mins.
- In a mixing bowl mix together cream cheese and white cheddar cheese. Add in salt, worcestershire, 2 cups of craisins and diced green onions and continue mixing for 2-3 minutes until well combined.
- Place the cheese ball mixture onto plastic wrap or parchment paper and form into a ball. Place your formed cheese ball onto a new plastic wrap/parchment paper and press the remaining craisins into the cheese ball. Place in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
